Membership of EA-CAT is open to anyone who would like to help our local community.
Not only when it snows, or floods, but at local fairs, music events and charity fundraisers.
While we have a strong 4x4 vehicle membership it is far from a necessity to own one.
Likewise there is no requirement to be an offroad driving God, as 99.9% of driving is done on normal roads
although not always during what would be classed as 'normal conditions'.
Our Team also has members who own non-4x4 vehicles that assist us in a general support role,
covering incident control, fundraising, training, safety and numerous other duties.
Membership is £20 in the first year (to cover Hi-vis, and DBS) and just £5 a year at renewal.
