Rendlesham Show 2023

Thank you so much for attending with the team for another year at
the Rendlesham Show. We are so grateful for EA-CAT and their
support for our community events. We most definitely would not
be able to manage to the scale they have become without you!
I will organise for a donation to be made to EA-CAT.
Best wishes, Ellie

Rendlesham Fireworks 2023

A massive thank you for all your efforts last week at our Rendlesham
Fireworks Extravaganza. We really appreciate your support and could
not do these things without you and the EA-CAT team.
Please can you let me know if you are able to assist at our next
years’ fireworks night.
Look forward to seeing you again at our Rendlesham Show for our
next big community event.
Best wishes, Ellie

SEH Christmas Dip 2019

Happy New Year! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for your support at the Christmas Day Dip, it was the most amount of dippers we’ve ever had (615) and thanks to you everything ran completely smoothly.
Wishing you all a great week and thank so much again for everything.

Many thanks, Becky

Rendlesham Show - 2019

Once again, my profuse thanks to EA-CAT members who so cheerfully coped with the appalling weather that was thrown at us on 8th June and helped dedicatedly throughout the day, managing the parking for The Rendlesham Show. As I’ve said to you before, because our park is so badly located, we really couldn’t manage without your help and are soooo grateful. I have attached a ‘thank you’ that I hope you will share with your team; they all earned a triple gold star award that day!
All the feedback we had from those who did come was positive and, while our numbers were down and some last minute changes had to be made, we did have a successful show with the stage/entertainment and the funfair’s paratrooper being big hits so all was not lost to the weather!
With best wishes for your other EA-CAT commitments this year

Carole

SEH Midnight Walk - 2019

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you for being involved with Midnight Walk – the event went so well and we couldn’t have done it without your support. We’ve already had some great feedback from participants which is brilliant. Many thanks,

Girls Night Out 2018

As always the EA-CAT were absolute superstars! We are so lucky to have their support at Girls Night Out 2018 and value their time and efforts that goes into the event. We had Wayne based in our marshal trailer and was taking down dialogue from the members of the team whilst out on the route via walkie-talkies. Their commitment, attentiveness and enthusiasm for the event was great and we would love to invite EA-CAT to join us next year at Girls Night Out.
We use EA-CAT for some of our other events, Paws in the Park & Battle of the Knights and each event they are professional, willing to lend a hand – with any job (!) and just absolutely lovely people to have at an event. We are very lucky to have them involved with the Hospice.

Thank you – from Charlie & Jenny at the St Nicholas Hospice Care Fundraising Team

Felixstowe Carnival 2018

We shall be in touch very soon.

Kind regards, Antony Perkins

Rendlesham Show 2018

Thank you to you and your team for all your help at The Rendlesham Show.
I hope the day was enjoyable for all your team; their help was certainly very much appreciated as without it, we would have a parking nightmare on our hands!

Best wishes, Carole

Beast From The East - 2018

Many thanks to Duncan who got us through all the snow drifts to visit our patients in Leiston and Eye last night. Awful conditions but we felt safe and our patients were very glad to see us.

Beast From The East - 2018

On behalf of Suffolk Resilience Forum (SRF) partners, I would like to offer my sincere thanks for the 4x4 vehicle support provided during the recent period of heavy snowfall. I understand that volunteers worked very long hours in challenging conditions to assist the statutory responders and Suffolk communities.
Within the SRF it has long been recognised that Suffolk Voluntary Organisation Group (SVOG)is an integral element of the multi-agency response & recovery to widespread, protracted emergencies. It is very reassuring to know that trained, experienced. SVOG member organisations and other local authorities can be called upon at short notice to deliver this support/mutual aid across the county.
Numerous comments from statutory responders about the 'can do' attitude of the 4x4 vehicle drivers over a prolonged response period have been received, and the limited trained 4x4 resources across the county contributed greatly to the statutory response.
Please convey my thanks to individual drivers.

Who's Afraid of the Park 2017

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for your help on Sunday – you were all amazing and please do send my thanks to everyone in your teams!
It was the first event I organised for the hospice and your help and support both on the night and in the lead up to the event made everything run so smoothly and was so re-assuring to know that the safety element of the event was in safe hands and for this I will be eternally grateful.

Becky, St Elizabeth's Hospice

Rendlesham Fireworks 2017

Just a quick note to say well done and a great big thank you to you and all your team for your invaluable contribution to the fireworks event on Sunday. It was a massive success and from all the public comments on Facebook and initial feedback received so far in to the office, everyone had a fantastic time. The turnout was amazing, exceeding all our expectations and the fireworks were brilliant.
Thank you!

Lucy Campbell - Event Coordinator

Rendlesham Fireworks 2017

I just wanted to thank you again for all the support EA-CAT gave to the event, the first Rendlesham Firework Display was a huge success with over 1,500 people came along on the night to enjoy the funfair, food and display.
Thanks to everyone who donated or sponsored the event we raised a massive £2,308! This, together with the Parish Council budget for next year’s event means that the 2018 event can go ahead. If EA-CAT are available on Sunday 4 November 2018 it would be great to have you come along once again.
It’s going to be bigger and better, and yes, there will be more food vendors (we admit we didn’t anticipate that nearly half the population of Rendlesham would turn up!).

Many thanks, Heather - Parish Clerk
